This is probably the most unlikely blog post / internet topic ever. Well, I live in Modesto, CA and I'm visiting Taipei, Taiwan. I thought it would be an interesting comparison.

Taipei city area: about 105 square miles (for comparison interest, Stanislaus County (where Modesto, CA lies, is 1,515 square miles)
Taipei population density 25000/sq mi
Taipei has the tallest building (Taipei 101) in the world at this point (2009). It has the worlds record for: Taipei 101 also set new records for ascending elevator speed.
So... this is the strangest comparison. Hopefully soon... to compare Plastic Surgery in Modesto and Taiwan.
