This was reported on Saturday Aug 7, 2009. The typhoon took about 2 days to get across Taiwan. My map of Typhoon Morakot as it swept through Taipei. I labeled Taipei with "Calvin". Map.
Al Jazeera English is the same TV Channel that had interviewed me while I was playing violin in the YouTube Symphony at Carnegie Hall - interviewing me as the only surgeon in the YouTube Symphony April 2009. click this link for that video which has nothing to do with the Typhoon.
