Info from AP Saturday, August 29, 2009.
Wildifre in the mountains above Los Angeles
Threat and danger to 10,000 homes
tripled in size on Saturday
So far 3 people burned, and at least three homes destroyed
Evacuation of 1000 homes
Evacuations in effect in Altadena, Glendale, Pasadena, La Crescenta and Big Tujunga Canyon
There are several other smaller fires burning in California. Including in Yosemite National park. This one is the largest.
